Julie Meridith Davis, a doctoral candidate at Illinois State University in Psychology will be speaking on “The Generational Differences in Coming Out”.

January 21, 2008 Documentary The Celluloid Closet - This exuberant, eye-opening movie serves up a dazzling hundred-year history of the role of gay men and lesbians on the silver screen.
February 18, 2008 Dr. Peter Ji What does it take to be a GLBT Ally?  Dr. Peter Ji has taught an honors course at the University of Illinois at Chicago for the past several years that requires his students to involve themselves in GLBT Advocacy.  He will be sharing some of what he has learned from his students about being an Ally.
March 17, 2008 Nicholas Rutan of the Chicago ACLU He will be speaking about what they are doing to try and assure passage of HB1826 Religious Freedoms Protection and Civil Unions Act now pending before the legislature in Springfield.
April 21, 2008 Did you ever wonder? Bring your written GLBT related questions to the meeting.  We will discuss the questions and do our best to provide answers.
